DO NOT USE air tool oil or motor oil. They're not "sticky" enough. K&N oil is also a no-no. (It's for cloth). You already spend over $500 on the truggy and probably at least $200 on the motor. Cheaping out on $5 is ridiculous. Get either hobby air filter oil or motorcycle FOAM air filter oil. Remember either high temps/too lean/ or DIRT is what causes early engine failure.

I was right! Chassis # 1322
OK. Do tires need to be modified to fit on the Losi rims? If so, what do you do? The Losi rims have a 1" backspacing. And since I don't have any rims without tires on, is the offset 1/2"? Thanx. I don't find much info about the Losi rims on the net.

You can get it work. The box lid will need modified to make it work. I have been starting my 8t with it. It's the only box I have working right now so I use it to start the 8ight and 8ight-T. But I only have two pegs on the front that are not screwed down. Have to move the vehicles around quite a bit to get the flywheel lined up. It works, but not set up like a starter box should.

Sounds close to what I did with my chrome top. I bought this one cause my Team Magic has no replacement pulleys in existence. I'm waiting for my Losi box also. With the chrome top, it came with some adhesive backed rubber pads. I put those front/back of the rubber wheel. It's the only thing to hold my truggy in place. Been using it for the 8 and 8T. Two GP 3300 batteries here.

Here's some race footage of my buddy's new 8T RTR. It was his first race with it and the first time it's been on the track. He's not really all that experienced, but he's getting better. Truck still has the grease in the diffs, but he is using my white rear spings,2.3 rear swaybar and my body. The engine(427) still had tight pinch and it's running very rich with the carb EPA at 75%. It still seems to keep up with the RB 928 and RB WS7II in the other's trucks.
