Hereís a cool battery I use because itís cheap ($8-10) and usually runs an hour and shows I on my charger to have plenty left to handle my hitec 7950/7955 setup for an hour no problem. The lipo1200 are hard to find right now but I got mine in a 2 pack for $18. I also used the 1000 lipos awhile with the same results! Love little light lipos compared to those giant 2000 packs.

Before chosing LiPo be sure your electronics can withstand higher voltages.

I have been thinking of trying this one. It will fit losi and hb cars. (there is a comment that someone uses it in their losi cars). Anyone tried these?

those dimensions are more then likely not going to work without cutting the cover up. Iíve seen ppl do it. IMO 57mm length 20mm height 39mm wide is where I stick to. Stuffing your battery in can cause a fire if your lipo puffs up and doesnít have room to expand.

I used it in my JQs, had to modify the tray since it was a bit too big. Much happier with their 1700 mAh LiFe pack

This looks awesome, but unfortunately it doesn't ship to Europe. If anyone else knows of a cheap LiPO/LiFe hump pack, post it here. I don't like paying 40$ for a receiver battery

The LRP/Nosram will fit: NOSRAM - NOSRAM VTEC LiPo 2200 RX-Pack small Hump - RX-only - 7.4V

I used also longtime ago the original Losi Lipo for the 8ight but I am not sure if they are still in production.

just go on eBay and check out the same battery. I got all mine on eBay (which should ship to eu) Iíve always been a crazy small battery kinda guy, probably more due to the price then anything lol. But u canít beat a 7-8$ battery that always gets me threw an hour at a time. Iíve even gone as low as 800mah and those lasted a long time on the track although over time they seemed to be trash from always running over an hour to test they could do it so the 1000+ packs seem to keep that long life cause your not draining it as bad to make it an hour. But I will be honest, the floreon 1200 I have right now is pretty much a forever deal I wonít be making a change on, I donít no if the hitec 7955/50 set up I have doesnít use much to power but I could take a fresh new floreon 800-1000mah pack and confidently run it an hour no problem. I wouldnít try it with a year old pack but a new one forsure. I notice so much weight savings when going to my 800 pack, I always wondered why the pros use huge packs cause you know THEY know how much they will use, anything over 1200 mah is not needed for a guy who has 3 charged (which I do for each day of driving) and knows what he needs. I think people use these 2000+ packs because they donít charge them up as often (which is a bad idea because that kills a battery not charging it till itís dead) but my 800 packs I have ran completely dead one time and the next time I used it it just died on me fast. So keep your stuff charged and have fun. Try it out, get 4 1000-1200mah packs and watch how much easier your day is when u need a battery. And when they die itís only 7-8 bucks. Not 37$ toasted.

RX battery is one of the most important part of a nitro car, bad pack = run away. I have seen a few people over the years get bit by using cheap lipos. just my opinion.
