Well, that is reassuring by 30tooth then if that is the case. It just shows how good the car is.
Look at the MP9, its a great buggy (used to race it) and it just got small subtle changes throughout its tenure.
I guess we will see, once it hits the track, see what Robert and Drake have to say. I am excited to see how well it does on a European mixed surface track. I think based on the changes, it will do very well.

Mugen is good at keeping their development top secret. They showed up in Argentina with a brand new mbx7 and nobody knew that something was coming (and at that point the car was basically production-ready). I would be very surprised if they raced the mbx8 on any event before the official release. Maaaybe some individual parts.

Thats what I was getting at, he did not really have anything new visually obvious at the Winter event. And that if he were to try anything it would be small as stated.
I am sure after the official Release, we will see the team drivers cars on FB!

The current car can be much better, I haven't got that much hands-on experience but there's a lot of potential. If you want to help me develop a setup for you just PM me.

Drake said:
- same drive train
- new, significantly stronger arms (compatible w mbx7r)
- new wing and wing mount
- new towers
- new chassis
Car looks very similar to the 7r but a lot of details have changed.
No split Center diff mount.
