Is it good and warm in there on race days? What tires seem to be working for open sprint & late model.Anything else I need to know would be much appreciated. Coming to race out there soon and like an idea of what to expect.

They run street tracks at the Plex. Buggy tires in Street Stock only. Pits are heated, track is not. You couldn't bring a heater big enough to make a difference in a building this big.

I'd recommend a buggy tire that doesn't have much grip. Unless your car is very loose to begin with. Track has some grip to it and is pretty smooth overall.

I'm coming forthe bigger races that mandate buggy tires.I'm thinking a heater under my wifes chair blowing right on her.

You shouldn't need to bring a heater - the pits are indoors and well heated. The dirt track portion of the building is fully enclosed and insulated. For the larger races we will have a couple forced air heaters going and a jacket will be sufficient (think upper 40's at the worst).

Well hopefully we will have our 3 street stocks and 1 the plexspec street stock by the weekend after the off week carpet deal. Hopefully we will get them down there this weekend some time to put laps in and start figuring things out.
