Dirt Oval at the plex

Has anyone thought about which classes are going to be ran on Sundays?

I have heard
1/8th scale and mod sprint

How about a spec 13.5 Dominator class?

I haven't heard anything as far as classes yet, but I was thinking 10.5 Late Model 2wd. I thought I could take a B4 or Triple-X/TLR 22 and convert it. Mod Sprint sounds like it will be huge.

I am thinking mod sprint or maybe even one of those ofna sprints. I suppose if they would let me I would run it with the late model guys. We will see what happens. Chris

Sprint and lates usually don't play nice with each other..

Would be nice if the dirt oval was on saturday nights this winter after the oval carpet racing. Would only have to make the drive to Omaha once a week that way. Would already be there for carpet. Looking forward to it very much. Have a dirt late model to use there. 5.5 or 10.5 would be cool. The races I've been to so far, they run these motors together depending on the driver's preference because of track conditions

I think that class would be perfect ,but Arnie let me drive his prototype Dominater with a 4.5 and it was perfect but I feel that would be a sweet class, count me in.....F.Murray 00M

I am thinking the same as Mike, Running saturday night oval would be cool. Figure some carpet oval guys have late models and sprints. Kill 2 birds with one stone there.

Never know it might bring out more people doing it on the same day for newbies like me. LOL

Was just wandering when the classes would be decided for the dirt and carpet ovals. Rules, etc. Hoping you guys race dirt oval on saturday evening after the carpet races. Would be nice to make one trip and not have to make a choice which I wanted to race. Thanks

Dirt oval will be ran alongside carpet oval. Basically it'll be round 1 of dirt, then round 1 of carpet, then round 2 of dirt, then round 2 of carpet...etc.

Classes will get worked out soon. Shouldn't be anything too different from the norm.

Alex,

You might want to check out checkeredflagraceway.com. They had a pretty good showing 2 weeks ago for the KDOC and if you use their set of rules then maybe those guys would be willing to drive up.

The S/S class looked like alot of fun.
