Default info

Any word on a schedule or classes? "schedule coming soon" was posted two weeks ago.

Vern, good to see you are still interested in oval. Hopefully someone can give us some info on this deal.

For the dirt, I want to run an Open Sprint class, a limited Late Model class, a Short Course class and a PLEXSpec kids class. Open Sprint is pretty self explanitory, 2WD, sprint body, any motor & 7.4v ROAR lipos. The Limited Late Model will be 2WD, late model body, Blinky ESC, 13,5 motor & 7,4v ROAR lipos. Short Course will run the same as Pro-2 offroad, 2WD SC chassis, SC bodies, SC tires(NO 1/8th), any motor & 7,4v ROAR lipos. Of course, if we have 4 or more consistent entries, we can run any other classes as well. As this is the first season on the dirt, there will be some tweaking of the classes and rules as we go through the season and everyone gets a feel for what they want to do. Please PM me with any questions or suggestions for the dirt.

Thumbs up

Hey Vern, long time my friend,my opinion is open sprints ,nitro sprints open 2 wd 1/10 late models ,buggies converted make pretty good cars hint hint , ,13.5 /4 wd late models ,short course trucks ,I would love to run my 1/8 late but unless we have a big race I don't see any turn out of them weakly ,and maybe a truck class ,I bring these classes up becouse I'm one of the guys that does alot of dirt oval and these are the most common classes,if we want a following in town and out of town guys will show these would be the classes to run, my opinion,,at first it will be slow but give it time,it will grow..DODC rules will make the difference............F.MURRAY 00M

I would be in for mod sprint and limited late model for sure if there is enough interest in it. I will be keeping an eye on this for sure.

Or convert a B4 or other off road buggy to a Pro-Am, sure a local sign shop could replicate your Dad's car

I believe there is at least 6 mod Sprints, 3 lates and 1 4wd late so far....

For the guys who have a SC truck you might want to check out this...

http://www.bartspartsrc.com/modifieds.html

these look pretty cool for a beginner class...

Was kind of curious when the dirt oval will have it's first test session? I know the season starts the 17th of Sept. Won't be there that day due to a prior commitment. Wedding. That's a good excuse I think
