cool dude thanks, it has always looked like a really fun class, but for what ever reason its hard to get enough people to race it. 1/8 buggy has never really looked that interesting to me, idk why; just never has. So maybe with 1/8 buggy being on separate days, there would be more of a following for mod 4 wheel drive buggy, at least i hope so anyways

There very fast no doubt about that, I remember watching them run when the Plex hosted the 1/10 roar e nats and I was impressed. Just don't know how long one would last on our 1/8th scale size track with my trigger finger . If the new track is fairly smooth they should be fun to race there.

its like driving a super precise fragile 8th scale buggy, all the power, half the size.
I will have mine hopefully by the end of the year... Scott Riggs has one and Josh Duncan does as well. Im sure there will be more, but I dont know if it will cause a conflict of interest between electric 8th scale or not.

How fragile we talking here Kevin, I understand it won't be like a 1/8th scale in terms of durability but like clip a pipe replace the front end type fragile ?

It won't cause any conflict with 1/8th ebuggy, only reason I'll consider running one is I would prefer to run two classes who have the points races on the same day.

I don't see them being anymore fragile than any other 1/10 cars. Maybe the old stuff like the XX4 but the new cars seem to be pretty durable. I'm really impressed with the quality of the Durango 4wd.

they have the durability of any 10th scale car... that being said they have the speed of an 8th scale.

no you wont rip the front end off each time you clip a pipe, but there will be a few times you cringe and go "really? that broke it"

Default Me too.

I've wanted one of those things since I got my 1/10th 2wd buggy. Looks like I need to sell some stuff and find me a b44.1. What motor you guys thinking?
