Racen 77 could you tell me what the oil is in the B4 I got from you. I am making a setup sheet for the way it is. I really like the way it is but I do want to try some things and the setup sheet will give me something to go back to if I really mess it up.

Hey,

We won't be able to make the May 9th race. My niece is graduating from Northwest @ 2 and I doubt we would be able to finish by then. Sorry.

I finally had a chance this weekend to set up a Flickr account, and load a few pictures from last summer and our first race this year. The ones from this year are primarily the short course classes. Next time out, I will try to get a few pictures of the other classes.

On the long jump on the oposite side of the front doubles is anyone having problems with 17.5 st. I seem to be just landing on the top of the end insted of the down side of the jump. Or is everyone just making it two separate jumps. I got a little practice in on Friday and came back with 2 out of 3 cars broke, all by that jump . I got the parts on order hoping that they would be here for next Sunday. That is when I realized it was mothers day, so I wont be making that race. I know that we were trying to work with some other tracks for scheduals but I think that we ended up with two of the bad days. Mothers day and 4th of July. Oh well that is just my opinion. No one take this to seriously I am just upset that things are not going well for my racing (or lack of) this year. .

Scott - It was so windy on race day that most everyone was pretty much treating it as a single single versus a big double. The wind out of the north was really dictating how to attack the jump. Even in my 2wd buggy I was approaching the jump as 2 singles. The wind was too much of a variable. The 1/8th scale buggies had no problems with it though.

Thanks for the info Zippy. I may just have to stop trying to go so big and just settle with what I know I can do, a single single. One of the parts I broke was a A arm an my SC10, the way I was treating it it is no surprise it broke. I spent the extra money and just bought some rpm arms. The other part was a rear body mount on the T4. It was belly floping on that jump and bouncing off of it into a front flip almost every time so I guess that was going to happen also.Maybe my parst will get here this week so I can get some more practice in. Hopefully I will be able to race some time soon.

My wife worked some things out that should make it so I can race this Sunday. Now if God is willing to hold the weather back that would be great. Oh yea got my RPM arms in for the SC10 but they require hinge pins off a GT2. So looks like if we are running I will be there with the B4 and T4.

The weather was again a huge challenge but I had a blast racing today. A big (THANKS) to Ron for getting the track into racing shape after outlaw bikers tried their best to ruin the track. See ya all in two weeks.
