IT'S FRIDAY!! One day closer to summer. Oh forget summer someone come put up a building in my backyard. I'm ready to race NOW. I'v just ben keeping myself ocupied by spending my frieds money building a new HPI E-Firestorm. I hope he will come race with us this year. I figure if I spend enough of his money he won't have wonted me to waist it so he will have to show up. hehe. I also found this old computer game called rc racers delux. It's realy good for an old game. If anyone wants a copy let me know. So what is everyone else doing to make it through the off session?

Thumbs up

It was great to see everyone is anxious to race after a huge dose of cabin fever. I can't wait to roost some dirt! --

Is it spring yet? Good meeting yesterday. Thanks to Al for letting us invade his house.

I think the kit tires for the Pro-2 SCT class will make it fun with the limited traction.

I fully agree, makes the class different.

It has been said many times. You want handling then get a Stadium Truck.
The banging and the attitude towards it, is what I love about the class.

I was telling my wife about the trophies and I thought she had a good idea. She suggested t-shirts and small plaques instead. You should be able to get them cheaper than trophies and then it guys can actually wear the shirt. A little promotional on our part and the winner can show it off easier than a trophy. Just an idea.

Default T-Shirts

Thats a good idea. I'll go for the T-Shirts. Maybe have a vote on the next meeting.

One problem I can see is, that you would want to have the shirts for the last race, and if it was up in the air as to who was going to win the points race you wouldn't know what size of shirt to get.

I like the idea of club t-shirts for participation and trophys for awards.

Cool

everyone should talk to their bosses about sponsoring us like i did! companies sponsor softball teams - why not rc racing? its a tax write off for them. my company paid for the thunder trophies last year, and ive already asked the plant manager about this year! its easier than you think. tell them we will name a racing series for them! example, the 2010 MFS THUNDER ON THE PLAINS RACE, or friday night series, or whatever. their company logo will be posted on the website also. we could make flyers with everyones logos and post them everywhere! who knows maybe we could draw some new racers also!
