Was wondering what if any indoor racing going on? Prefer 1/10 off road. But curious about anything.

its kinda hard to even find a hobby shop up here. Where is the local hotspot. Cedar Falls and surrounding area.

Besides RC Hobby House, which I don’t go to anymore, there definitely isn’t much around here. I’m just getting back into the hobby after several years to find that it seems like there’s is even less activity in the hobby in the area. With the retirement of Craig at Hobby Town it’s made it much harder to do anything with the hobby. If you find a good spot let me know. Maybe we can bash together. I just picked up a Traxxas Bronco as well as I have a losi 8ight nitro ordered. Would be fun to get with a small group of guys

It is a little drive but Island Speedway in Muscatine, IA has carpet off road, carpet on road and a dirt oval. three separate tracks racing most weekends.

There is a club racing in Waverly every Sunday at Cedar Valley RC - CVRC. You can find them on facebook. They only race Traxxas 4-tec 2.0 cars, but it has been fun. The last time I was there they had 26 racers. Going this Sunday as well. I believe racing starts at 12:30 if I am remembering correctly. I also highly recommend Island Speedway. I race there opposite weekends. Awesome facility for racing.
