Drive in winter, I drive my truck when it is winter in Sweden. All waterproof electronics, I think hehe :D .

Driving in the winter is immense fun! I'm almost looking forward to getting some snow just for that reason.

Being outside hurts here. This is like white walkers, north of the wall winter here. You guys don't get it. I like a little snow too, but when it's -50 with the wind chill, my arse is in the house.

Love the GOT response! Winter is HERE!

Tekno mc2 brace

Hahaha about shelf queens!

I did manage to break stock plastic brace. I just left it broken since i don't have the replacement part and i have a tower to tower brace. Actually no idea how it broke with my tower to tower haha, must have been one of my huge crash and cartwheel combo tricks i'm so good at.

I run the mc2 brace on my mt410 and et48.3. I would NEVER run the tower to tower because it will bend both of the towers when u crash hard enough and you'll be replacing both towers instead of just one. It causes the force of the crash to fold both over. So do what u want but from my own experience and from what damage iv seen other cause from this mod I won't do it. Good luck with yours but it's a garentee that it will bend both with that tower to tower brace. Not to mention it breaks the diff housing also. Stick with the mc2 brace if it's in your budget

Appreciate the advice for sure. I've seen breakages both ways so not sure there is any conclusive evidence against it or not. If i get screwed over by running it i'll likely remove it and try the mc2 braces.

I've ran tower to towers on my past few vehicles and had really good luck. On my MT410 the bumpers also tie into the tower brace (which is thinner aluminum so not crazy burly anyway). I've landed almost every which way from 30-80 foot airs and haven't had any damage at all except a couple broken bumpers (stock and t-bone) and broken stock chassis brace at the upper mounting point. Who knows what else would have bent or broken had there been no tower to tower, possibly a diff case but hard to speculate? The brace also helps save my bodies on the trucks bigtime which is an added bonus.

New body on my long chassis MT410
Thanks to the guy that posted his f-650 a couple weeks ago. Fit is perfect.

That body is nice enough I'd feel bad about the impending carnage (but I'd get over it!)

Real nice job on that one.

Anyone try a Delta Plastiks body? There is a crazy video with a guy smashing one with a big hammer. I'm gonna give one a go.

Chainsaw that body does fit perfectly, real nice paintjob as well! Do you tape or shoegoo your bodies at all or just run them as is?

Those bodies look interesting, 1.5 and 2mm lexan. I think some of the Proline bodies list as 0.06" which is 1.5mm so i'd be curios to see how the Delta bodies compare!! Please keep us posted!

I go to an ice fishing Jamboree every year in February. It was -20 with the wind last year and -45 with the wind 2 years ago. A couple thousand people go every year. They cut a hole in the ice for people to do the polar bear plunge and to drive snowmobiles across open water. The kind of days where you have to drink your beer quickly or it will freeze in the can/bottle.

Plus, it's the perfect time to bust out those HIGH heat powertrains and really push em.

Thanks:)

I always do the shoe goo job in the places most likely to crack. Then I just do extra shoe goo/drywall tape in the future when needed. I’ve tried gorilla tape many times in the past and I feel it’s worthless compared to a good goo job. I brace the inside(with Kydex or truck bed liner pieces) of most of my bodies too like in picture. They flex much less on lid landings when you do this. I get very long lives out of my bodies....I enjoy the challenge of making them strong and then finding ways to repair and strengthen them once they get beat up.

Just got them. Thank you T-Bone. Those rear nylon mud guards are bulletproof. As for the full nylon bombproof chassis skid, guess I'm the only MT410 owner to get/own one
