Agree with the above on the vid. Only had BL on my buggy and loved them. Always wanted to try them on a MT but to small for my XXL and Yeti XL but look good on the 410.

It will. Just not as easily. The taller wider MT tires make for crazy stunt action. A quick example of the Stunt thing is on post #62 with 3.8 Badlands and post #72 with MT tires.

On a side note.

Got a few parts today for my Tekno-MT410

A set of Badlands MX 3.8's and the Ford Raptor body.

Well the MX 3.8 are massive compared to the original 3.8 Badlands. I probably will not use these on the MT410. Will most likely order the Outcast wheels and tires as those are smaller than the MX 3.8 but bigger than the OG Badlands.

Here's a size comparison.

The ARRMA Nero Tires are a Perfect Size for the Tekno-MT410.

Again this is referencing my RC8.2-MT which is similar to the Tekno.

Wow. Dimensions are one thing but pictures are better. Thanks for those. No way would I put the BL MX 3.8 on the MT410. Other rigs yes but too big.

Default tires...

Gents,

I know this is tough to answer, but how long do a set of these ties last on average? Most MT tires seem to have a very deep/tall tread.

Racing, we can burn a set of tires in a big race in a weekend. Do you get a few weeks of banging around on a set?

They last for years on an MT. Far different than racing tires.

This will highly depend on the surface you drive on and compound of rubber you get. Most of the time, MT tires are what we would call "medium" in racing, and are most often in grass or softer dirt, rather than on high bite abrasive surfaces like sugar tracks. Running in gravel will be similar to the soft stuff too, as the tire will throw it more than rub against it. If you decide to do a lot of parking lot running, then you might still wear them down quickly, but otherwise, not so much.

I'm going with this setup. Big tires are nice and all but they tend to be hard on the drive train IMO.

I do as well.

Best picture I have of it mounted. Was hoping for a closeup. It's in between the rear body posts. If you click the photo you can zoom in on Photobucket and see the M2C brace better
