Well the only complaints I have so far are the screws are not lock tighted very well, and the wheelie bar isn't going to take much abuse. This is after about 2 1/2 packs. It's not going to take much more.

Wow. The holes in mine are elongated as well but not that bad and not that quickly. The issue is the rigid strut brace doesn't give at all which tries to pull the wheely bar out when upward pressure is applied on it. I'd look into drilling another set of holes towards the rear of the skid plate so there's 4 instead of 2 making it harder for them to elongate. I don't recall what's there and if it's even possible though.

After that the only other thing to try is to remove the strut. Possibly replacing it with a shock absorber that's long enough. The flex will help prevent the bar from trying to pull itself out.

You could always ditch the Losi wheely bar too and do something like I did to my nephews and one of my previous LST's. It's simply a Traxxas T/E-Maxx wheely bar held to a stock LST skid plate with a couple nuts and bolts.

What about a single 6 cell soft pack?

The length and width of the bottom section of the tray was designed to fit most hard case 2-4 cell lipo packs. As long as your 6s soft pack length and width is the same as a standard hard case, the Velcro straps a long enough to accommodate the thickness of the pack.

For those of you that may want to mount a wing your XXL2-E, Part# LOSB2501 is the wing mount plastics for the LST. This is only the wing mount, so you will be able to select your wing of choice.

For those of you that want to remove the wheelie bar for off road driving and bashing. LOSB2401 is the F/R Bumper and Braces for the LST platforms.

How is the stock servo saver setup? I've seen a mod for the LST using AE servo saver parts, is this still better than stock? Is there a single servo setup available? I saw a vid w/one, but cant find any info on a mod or conversion.

Finally got mine. Did some on-road high speed passes. Very pleased with it. Cant wait until this weekend so I can jump this thing.

Whoa.. The spurs are on the opposite side. Is the 2-speed carried over from the LST2?? Anybody got a close-up with the gear cover off?

Transmission was rotated 180 degrees in the new chassis. There's no 2 speed, uses the same single speed hub that Losi offered as an option for their brushless conversion kit. When the motor is properly sized with the right voltage and kv combination you really don't need a 2 speed. In fact I believe it's harder on the drivetrain since brushless has so much torque when it shifts it shocks the drivetrain much harder than a nitro does.
