my grandfather has the O.S. .30 setting on a tmaxx which ahd the origanal .21 conversion kit. all he did was swap motor and the like F**ker hauls balls with that motor. he took it apart the first day he got it and done some porting on the sleeve before he even broke it in. I would have to say that that motor is one have of a piece of work.
Good Job and good luck with future products. |
Thanks for the reply. I have been working nitro for about 3 years so it wasn't a lean condition but it could have been dirt.
This was just a bearing failure in the rear of the crankcase. Common for this engine. |

I would like to start this thread for OS's new .30VG monster block engines. There are going to be 3 new engine:
OSMG2075 .30VG-P Non- Pullstart OSMG2076 .30VG(P) SR Savage OSMG2077 .30VG-X Pullstart The engines use standard No.8 Glow Plugs and will come with a 203 air filter. The Savage version will be for the Roto Start System just bolt it on from your old engine. These engines are designed for Monster trucks and Truggies. I have included pics, if you have any questions please ask. I like to know if the 30 vg will perform good in the Inferno GT. ad if the speed will be faster than the 21 vg Thank you Victor |
Bring back this engine, and with recoil. I bought it in 2006 for my Ofna Titan and it was awesome.

Still have my OS RZ .21, the best running engine I've ever had. Just put it in the mbx7t I just bought. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...af2559de26.jpg

There are plenty of regular .21's now from OS that would do a better job and save fuel! And if you have to have a big block get the Nova instead. |

The savage with the .30VG was really fast, I have seen LST run the savage would blow it away, but I would add the 3 speed tans :)

I put the OS .30vg in my new Kyosho USA-1 Nitro and I'm pleased with the results:
However, I do note this engine is a gas-guzzler. |
