Hell there,

Im new to the forum. I recently did a electric conversion to my pro .15 t maxx.
my tmaxx is definitely not stock tho. It had a 3.3 on it but got tired of tuning the dame thing. I am really new to the whole electric stuff so i want to keep the 45-50 mph that is had but i don't want to pay a fortune. I currently have a 540 motor out of my drift car but i had to tune the esc to make it run so i haven't had the chance to play with it yet.

you're not going to be able to run it with the 540, for the Tmax you will need a 1/8 system, the system from your drifter will burn up pretty quick. If you are on a budget check out HobbyKing or Falcon Sekeido (HobbyWing).

So the 540 will probably push it along but will burn up cause the tmaxx weight is to much? And thanks for the reply.

Would this be ideal for a good set up? And what else would i have to do(metal tranny gears or cvd's) to the truck.

that sounds more suited to what you want to do, pair that with a 4 cell lipo and you should be golden. I don't think you will have to upgrade anything else right off the bat, just worry about that stuff as it breaks

As a thought...for a bit more money you can get Hobbywing...which from my research and experience has better support, is waterproof and is true 1/8 scale. Notice on those hobbyking esc's how the wires are puny? That's got loss of amps written all over it.

Or good old castle....the 2200 rips and roars in the maxx
