i did buy a integy motor mount but other then that i made everything else the battery tray is from a losi ten scte i made the receiver mount and for the breaks i used a y-adapter and programed my esc for no reverse and set it to 50% brakes here are the pictures

I just saw this thread and looks like a fun project. I'll see if I can find any more conversion people have done. If anyone done it please send me some pictures. Thanks.

did this a few months ago.
used the tekno kit from tower for $100 or so.
used 1/8 scale speed passions esc and motor for $170.
had to take apart the tranny to install the single speed conversion.
now if i tighten up the spur gear, i can do wheelies or flip it on demand...
and this is a 2.5 revo i bought almost a decade ago.
