Default Tuning Question

im running a savage with the f4.6 engine and it was given to me used so the tune on it needed to be changed for my area.....long story short the tune was all out of wack so i reset the carb back to factory settings.....1mm idle gap, hsn flush with housing and lsn flush with housing. now it fires up on the 1st or 2nd pull and idles fine, but as soon as i remove the glow ignitor the engine dies.....anybody have any ideas?

Replace the glow plug first before you do any further diagnostics and see if that fixes your problem.

Sounds a lil rich... try leaning out your lsn just a little and if this doesnt work after 3/4th turn in 1/8 incriments... move to your glow plug... Watch these VIDEOS you will feel like a pro afterwords...

ive tried 2 different brand new plugs.....im hoping that my glow ignitor is not fully charged and isnt getting the plug hot enough....even compared the "bad plugs" to the new ones and they are still excellent

awww daymn that sucks..... thats why you should use bump start... you never worry about that... and less drag so your motor runs better.... I honestly think its your LSN...
