I think I found a good 3 cell battery that will fit.

http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-sl4400...-hardcase.html

The dimensions are 138.38 * 46.36 * 31.25mm 4400mah, and 40c discarge.

The 3 cell HPI battery Lists 138.6 x 46.6 x 30mm, with only 3800mah 30c discarge, and twice the price!

Anybody here use sky Lipo batteries? I think I'm going to order one just to try it out!

I use 3S hard case Sky Lipo's in my SC truck and they work beautifully. Outstanding batteries for the price and free shipping from Hobbypartz makes them even more affordable.

It's been discussed already- any 2.2 stadium truck wheels and tires should work (with 12mm hex)

Proline Badlands and Mashers 2.2!

HPI makes a huge lineup of wheels for it too.

Ok I understand this , but if I was ordering 12mm hex wheels from a stampede 4x4 or rustler would I go with all 4 rears or fronts? That is my question ....

Wouldn't really matter if it's front or rear just as long as they are all the same. If I remember correctly traxxas fronts when put on the rear make the vehicle a little wider.

I use 4400, 40c 4S in my VE8, 1/8. I get a solid 16+min runtimes. I'm very pleased with the batts. I'm gonna order there 3S batts for this, or the gen-ace. My dad has all traxass stuff and uses gen-ace which are all 3S so I can try those out. But from what I've seen there pretty close, it may come down to who has the biggest mah/dc batt that fits.

In that case I will want the fronts- the wider the better. You get all the steering you could want with these minis anyways.

Just checked the HPI website, and it says 100% of the parts are in stock. So we should see this soon!

They also list an upgraded waterproof servo. http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/105366/

It has 166 in-oz, but it doesn't say anything about having metal gears.

I'm going to drop about $15 on ebay for a traxxas 2075 wp servo. 125 oz of torque should be plenty, and i hardly ever hear of them stripping. Plus if it does, only costs $15 to replace.
