Default T-Maxx Engine

I recently bought a used T-Maxx, and I am having some problems with the motor, I not sure if it is blown?? I have played around with the mixtures but havent been able to fix the problem. Basically it runs great for about 5mins, then it seems the motor becomes bogged down?? full throttle and the truck is just slowly moving. Is this overheating, could some thing be cracked, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

lots of info here....

best thing to do, is to set the carb setting back to factory settings and then tune from there..

another tip is to get a temp gun...

could also possibly be that the motor is worn to the point that when the motor gets heat in it the gap opens up between the piston and sleeve and allows blow-by and decreases horsepower, but always go back to factory needle settings first and try again
