That's perfect, the ones I bought were 103mm in length also.

RTR of what? This is the size I was thinking but nowhere does it say it. these 12mm shocks come in many body lengths and shaft lengths I was just hoping for some clarity as to the exact lengths to use as well as spring tensions. they also have different size Spring Cup Offset

The blue, V2 non-threaded shocks came with the RTR ProSC10. Anyway, the specs are posted, you can just get the kashima coated bodies and titanium coated shafts using those specs. I believe jconcepts is using green rear V2 springs.

I haven't seen the exact body and shaft specs that they used posted. I believe what has been communicated in a video or two is that you are looking for an overall length of approximately 100 mm. I've looked through Jconcepts site, through their blog, and watched all the videos, theirs and other's, and even tried calling them to find the AE shaft, body, eyelet combo to get that length and finally got some help directly from AE.

Sorry, I didn't mean that they posted it. I meant I posted the specs to get the same/similar setup they have. I did exactly what you did, looked through Jconcepts site, through their blog, and watched all the videos. I also looked at pictures very closely as well as pausing the videos to see if I can find some clues there. I joined AE groups to find out more about the V2 shocks. Looked at AE manuals for kits that used the V2 shocks which is where I found the 103mm length and part numbers for compatibility. Looked through A-Main to see what bodies and shafts are available for the V2. Lots of work but I enjoy doing it lol. I ended up buying the blue V2 shocks I posted above since my clod is a basher and won't be racing. And, I could upgrade to the kashima bodies and TiNi shafts later on if I wanted to.

Those are nice but I just dont want the blue. also the Chrome Shock shafts with X ring seals are the smoothest. the Ti Shafts are just a tad stronger. but I honestly havent seen a durabilty issue with any of my other vehicles.

Check Fleabay for dudes who part out kits. And I truly thought AE released a complete shock kit within the past couple years?????

also going to the off road section and asking in the JC thread. I know Paul and even Jason goes in there to help.

Yes They have but usually the front shocks are shorter. I also want the High end Kashima Bodies and Chrome shafts they dont come in any kit other than High end Vehicle kits. not to mention the JConcepts Bling. LOL

I know, I’m in the same boat. Build a clod or get into 8th scale buggy racing. I’m not sure which is cheaper lol

Too funny we went on the same search to figure out those shocks. Wish I would have seen this before I bought all the individual shocks parts, I would have done the blue shocks and then just upgraded as I went. Appreciate you sharing the info!

I asked in the JC thread and Paul Wynn said it was the T6 rears. For anyone trying to measure by hand or the “long way” just build up a set of RC10T6 rears in which ever config you’d like.

I found some used T6’s that would only need new x rings for cheaper than piecing them together lol

Yeah T6 or sc6 shocks. Once you start getting into the Kashima bodies, Chrome shafts and JC bling they get pricey fast but they are butter smooth I have them On my B6.2 and B74.1
My Clod is going to be close to the $1500 mark I think.

1/8 is a blast. Id get one if I were you. I have the Tekno EB48.4, NB48.4, ET48.3, NT48.3, X-Ray XB8E, Associated RC8 B3.2e, Arrma Kraton, Talion, Typhon, And LImitless. They are all Epic.
