about freestyle : why no backflips during a long jump ?

Not sure what your saying unless you are saying to to a backflip while flying forward. There was a few that done that but I don’t care for doing that. The real trucks can’t do it so I try to make it look somewhat realistic.

yes indeed, flying forward backflip
real monster trucks can backflip ( well almost, they need a tilting ramp )

then why not this backflip in reverse ?

why not a bumping front flip ?

i'm just saying, i love monster jam, i love rc monster truck, i love realistic RC monster truck too !

We don't have the kicker ramp like the one where he jumped over Son Uva Digger.

The Mad Scientist flip was kind of a dumb luck it all happened perfect to make happen.

A reverse back flip can be done I am sure.

This was only one run from this past year. I wish I had more runs to show. I can't remember what all did happen.

Super clod buster brushless

Hello everyone. I recently got a super clod buster. I was having fun with it but was a little disappointed in how much power it had and the battery life. So fast forward I researched it on this site to see how to do dual brushless. After a couple weeks of pondering it I went ahead and took the leap. I now run dual velineon VXL-3s brushless with a 11.1v 8000mha battery. Let me say WOW! This thing is insane. It goes over 30mph now and has endless power. It's almost too much. I've been having a blast with It! Now to mod the rest of it!

great pictures ! that pilot is a great nod to the oldschool monster trucks !!

RC racing monster trucks look cool but their belly are really hanging to low ! i know that pilot want a lower COG but those trucks will soon be lower than 1/10th racing buggies !

So I have a question, I've owned no less than 5 clods over the years and I'm looking at building another one.

How are all these pictures on this thread running the ZRP chassis and yet everything I find online is that ZRP are no more?

the rc guy 04-26-2018 06:38 AM

Zrp is still kinda alive. He just said as of now he will not be making anymore complete chassis.. but if you go to His FB page and follow you might find 1. screwloose will carry parts for them. There are other chassis. you can buy.. RUSS BRYANT 2 Time world cold champion. Good Job russ. talk to the Indians man.(purely code so he knows who I am)

ROWDY RACING 04-26-2018 08:17 AM

ZRP trucks come up for sale on FB all the time. The reason most of the pics in this thread are ZRP trucks is because the pics are moslty taken at team ZRP races.

the rc guy 04-26-2018 09:00 AM

There are no ZRP races.. there is Michigan Monsters of rc. so the clod nationals was a ZRP Race no.its was open.

Team ZRP (Jon) = Michigan Monsters of RC

Which race are you referring to as the "Clod Nationals?"

Russ wins pretty much all of the big races with his ZRP trucks. He's a great MT driver!
