It is an old truck, but the aftermarket chassis choices are numerous. I am a massive fan of TTR, these trucks fit the same body as a 3908L extended emaxx to give you an idea. Tonight when I get home from work, I will upload a pic of my emaxx and TTR Tremor with the same body mounted to give you an idea of size...

a lot of people, myself included, have put brushless in a clod...need to upgrade some things, but the gearboxes can handle it...

the kyosho mad force kruiser is similar in size to your rival, and is solid axle. that one was designed for lots of power...

hi! thanks for the links, many infos in this thread. the rim I need is the OFNA Monster Pirate rims. I previously thought that those rims had a too big Bead Diameter (2.9")

now the question is, do the destroyer tires balloon ??

I have owned both the IMEX Diamond Jumbomaxx rims and the OFNA Pirate Rims, and by the eye, they look to me to be exactly the same. The Destroyer Rims will definitely balloon, I have heard they are very soft compound and would be great CLOD tyres for indoor racing... Hope this helps

ok thanks, actually, I have a special request: I don't want a sticky tire ! I like the oldschool tires with a hard rubber. i like to bash on grass/concrete and enjoy how my thunder tiger EK4 tires drift ! it's just that the rims may break one day and I'm searching for a bit wider tire.
do you know the ofna titan tires ? do those have the hard oldschool compound ?

Yep the Titan or the Monster Pirate Tyres are a much harder rubber compound, so will run fine out doors, BUT they are heavy and hard on driveline. My old Dominator ran 8mm cvd's on all 4 and I still used to chew bones with them. My favourite wider tyres of all time, yet still heavy are the IMEX Jumbomaxx sized Chevrons and Swamp Dawgs. They are hard to get these days tho which is a shame.

IMEX Jumbomaxx Chevrons:

IMEX Jumbomaxx Swamp Dawgs:

I saw that news on RCMT! Do you have any details a to when it will be available? Numbers etc? I have a Tremor also, and would love to add a Tremor Pro to the fleet if i could.

I am not affiliated or anything with TTR.... So anything I'd say would be a mere guess/ total estimate on my part which wouldn't be fair for you.
