hi all new here
anyone would recommend a kit..lookin to buy my 1st monster truck...my LHS carry a hpi, traxxas and team associated parts and kit
im choosing between a hpi savage x 4.6, traxxas t-max 3.3, team associated mgt 8.0 or maybe a kyosho mad force kruiser...only considering kyosho cuz i have igt1...i will be mostly using it for bashing but i would race it is there is time
2 lhs say if i want to bash, hpi or traxxas cuz it tough and part availability and tons of hop-ups...if i wanna race should go for TA or get a buggy
thanks

My bad, are you saying you will race it if there is time?
I would check to see if anyone near you even races MT. If not, I'd look into a truggy, or whatever classes there are.
Most of the trucks you named are good bashers, but none of them are designed for racing.

Well I'd personally go with the Savage over all of them, then the MGT... Traxxas isn't specifically known for being a basher friendly brand.
There are a LOT of people here with absolutely ridiculous savages also. It has a much better aftermarket supply IMO, a lot easier to customize. The K4.6 is MUCH easier to tune and keep reliable than the Traxxas 3.3 also.
