Default Need help with t maxx

I have a t maxx that I recently put an os .18 cv r engine into it. I had to modify the crankshaft and add a pilot shaft to it. I got the truck running and now when I give it throttle it won't move. While it is idling you can see it start to move forward. I feel like the clutch is working since it makes the gear move spur gear spins at a higher rate when i give it throttle. I am not sure where to start trouble shooting on this, could someone help.

Check your slipper clutch if you have one it might be too loose.

If your slipper is slipping the spur gear will be spinning but it wont be grabbing anything.

so tighten down, then check i your clutch shoes are backwards because then it wont expand and grab the clutch bell.that could only be the problem if you have a 3 or 4 shoe clutch set up because if its just the circle shoes it doesnt matter

Check the slipper - while you're there, add the other 6 pegs so you're running 12 and not 6, cheap hopup for the stock slipper.

I checked out the slipper clutch everything was fine. It ended up, that it was stuck between fwd and rev. So i decided just to instal the forward only conversion. Thanks for the help it gave me a place to start trouble shooting and knowledge I may use later.
