at my last race i ran a old worn out 2.5 with a stock header and pipe and placed first in the B. i was having no problems keeping up with the 18 and 3.3.
but now i run a 18tz with stock pipe. but still gonna use that 2.5 for practice and to play around with.

It works great, lots of power, lots of torque, and is easy to tune. I would say get one but look into the GO-Tech .28

I run a 3.3 in my Revo. Runs good. I'll be racing this summer. If we need an upgrade we'll get one that will allow us to run in our class.

My friend runs a .21 5p pro in his Revo, the thing is almost as quick as a truggy, he also says he has no problem with 'left and right' engine tuning problems..

In a flat out drag race down the straight I out ran an O.S. 18tz this weekend. That was from a dead stop and I was in the front from the begining to the end of the straight. Had him on bottom end all the way through. Just a couple mods to the crank on the 3.3 makes it a real screamer. I think that was an EB Mods 18tz too.

what mods do you have on the 3.3? what pipe are you running. what gearing are you running. it could all be different

Im running the Sirio .27RE and it pulls very hard. I also keep a 5 tank broke in 3.3 for backup.

Not really sure what you call the mods to the crank,I just bought one from E-bay and copied it. I actually have 2 of these engines done the same way. I'm running a Trinity pipe and header with close ratio gears in the trans. and 15T clutchbell with 38T spur gear.

which could be why the non modded TMs couldnt keep up. they might have been running stock pipe and standard gearing... nitro mix can even make a difference
