just wondering what engine do you guys have for your revo. I have revo 3.3 with a extended chasis, trinity pipe, and supercharger. i run 33% traxxas fuel and the thing is sweeeeeeet. thinking of getting a different engine soon just want to know what people on rc tech have to get some ideas.

You need to sell the "supercharger."

x10000 Ditch the blower, you will get as much power from a good tune. These arent forced air inducted engines, all the blower will do it lean it out too much and kill the lifespan considerably.

I run the OS 18 TM and its walked all over any 3.3 Ive come up against.

I'm running a modified 3.3 and love it other than the rear bearing problems that 3.3's have. I just bought a new set of ceramic bearings to take care of that though. I generally smoke the 18tm's on the straight but gearing has a lot to do with this too.

I don't know, but my guess is no. The only thing modded on my 3.3 is the crank, which I done based on a crank that I bought from E-bay. It's like it has no upper RPM limit when you rev it with the tires off the ground. It's pretty wicked!;)

Oh yeah,I forgot to mention that's with a Trinity header and pipe.

jatoman1992 11-16-2007 03:39 PM

you smoke them on the straights cuz u have more top end. the TM's have more low-mid grunt then the 3.3.
