Trashed AstroTurf . . . was it you?
Sad Note: I was very SHOCKED when I arrived to find at least 60 new holes in the AstroTurf! I taped one jump's landing area and no new holes appeared.
Wednesday night practice had to have been the source of the new holes.
I was out of town Wednesday night and not able to monitor.
Did you run? If so, take a minute to inspect your chassis. Is there anything protruding from the back end that would rip the carpet? All the new holes (yes, 60 of them!) were on the landing side of faster jumps.
Dear god!
Please, please, please - check your chassis and fix it, tape it, do something so it doesn't tear the AstroTurf. Besides, you'll go faster.

Have your Slash guys check the bottom part of their rear bumper assembly, there are only two screws under the gear box that secure it and about 3/4" of plastic that go beyond the screws that protrude forward and can dig in on landings. Easy fix of adding two screws to the forward part of the plastic to secure it to the gear box. Sorry I don't have a pic of the bottom of my Slash to illustrate what I'm talking about.

Thanks Mike. I'll figure out who can close it up (easy job - turn off lights and release the door locks).
