Hobby Zone Summer racing Starts May 1st!

It is a test of driving skilz, the complete package but a blast. The track has it all, table top, big double, elevation changes, iritators, what more could you ask.
John S. put on a clinic last night, guess I gotta practice a little more. The three race series sounds fun, count me in if the weather cooperates.

Yup, the track was in PRIME condition last night...about as good as I've ever seen it! Holeshots worked pretty darn good on the rear of the truck, and I'm guessing they'd be good on a buggy too.
I threw my B4 out there after the races with the TCHR standard set-up on it (minus the weights and black rear springs), and it wasn't too bad...actually had a little push on some parts of the track.
This is my current truck set-up...
Front:
30w with #2 piston
Shocks inside on arm...middle on shock tower
Losi T-2000 pink compound w/Bomb 1 foams (I'm sure Holeshots would be very similar)
Axles middle
Arms level
Silver springs
Rear:
30W with #1 piston
Shocks inside on arm...inside on tower
Holeshot R3 compound w/Bomb 1 foams
Axles forward
CVD's
Arms just below level
1 foam in front of battery, 2 behind
Green springs
I haven't really experimented much yet, but as well as it was working, I didn't want to mess with it! I'll throw some test settings at the truck for the heck of it to see how it works...always room for improvement I guess!
Hope to see more racer come and enjoy the new, very technical layout! It's a blast!

Done the race director and to busy to run deal, so no problem letting a fellow RD play. In fact if you want to run and need a replacement when I'm there you can let me know. I'm always happy to help out where I can, I guess I need a little practice hand counting anyhow.

Little lost
I happen to be in the area and tried to find the track to check it out. I was not able to see it driving on Cliff Lake Road. I didn't have any numbers or the address with me at the time. Is it neer all the stores?

Hey Rex,
Seems that a good stocker is going to be more than adequate this year again...I was trying out a 12x2, but my lap times were the same, if not a tad bit faster with a stock motor, in both truck and buggy. Hope you guys can make it Wednesday!
Fritz,
The track is kind of hidden back around the corner of the strip mall...if you're in the parking lot of Cub Foods, the track is on the south side of the lot, near the pond.
