Easy does it, and yes, you can count on me showing up there, would not miss it for the world. And I do not intend to be a negative XXXX that whines about stuff, but come on, let's face it. If you say that you will host a race, you better be there. Do you agree with that comment or not? I know that he had (at least for one of the no-show weekends) an extraordinary delay in customs and could not make it in time, but still, if you are cutting it that close, there has to be someone else that can step in and run the show, right?

All that is over and done with though and it is a new season. Looking forward to seeing you out there.

Simulated Wood, I know you are starting April 20, what time will the track be open? I have my car ready, just got a new painted body on it (first one in two years....) I gues it was time.

Default Mr Molzer

I think you can start practicing as soon as the track gets assembled. (Depends on who helps and whether there is a design or not). ]To be honest I would probably call Gordy to find out what he is thinking for a start time (I.e when he gets his butt to the track!) << Last year he was a bit inconsistent. I try to get there about 2 hours befoire racing starts to wait/ help out.
I am usually waiting for Gordy to bring in the track barriers.
I know this isnt a clear answer but i will try to find out.

Shawn, call me Fred... Anyway, I can't recall when the racing started last year, was it about noon? I am really excited about this. Let last year be last year, and this is 2003, the best potential season yet !

See you out there !

ammdrew, if it doesn't you can always use my 4-tec ....
In case it does not show up in time, I will pull mine (read yours) out of the 705 since I plan on beating up the old impulse anyway.

Default Hey Everyone

I'm new to the forum, but not to the track. The races were probably one of the funnest things I did last summer. I'm really looking forward to racing with all of you again this year. I can't wait for the season to start.

how are the racers? This will be my first year w/ nitro. Are they forgiving to rookies? what about a novice class?

Everyone is really nice. The main focus on Sunday racing is fun. Everyone's just there to have a good time. There isn't a "novice class," but they do a good job in dividing the quailiers so you're racing agianst people of your own ability.
