Anywhozits, I again want to thank everyone for their input with the new layout and the 1/5th format....

It was cool to try a few things as we went to make the racing better....We are on the right track...literally....

I know it was the first day, but we still need to be mindful to be ready when your heat is up, and marshalling afterwards....

I know it is tougher with three heats total, but the 30 minute breaks in between rounds should have been enough time to be ready for the next round.

Also, remember that we run USVTA specs for vintage, and ROAR specs for Touring Car....

All classes are welcome any race day, so if you can get a few buds together to run a particular class, just post here and let them know what week to come out.

And back I'll be Oladele! I had the 17.5 with me last Saturday, but (and wisely so) thought that three classes would be too much fun for one day (I'm old ya know), so opted for the VTA and 1/5 scale cars. With Ray (again wisely so) splitting the race days separating the 1/5 scales (my new love), and the VTA/17.5 race days I'll be back to racing VTA and 17.5 one week, and 1/5 scale the other. I even purchased a new flux capacitor and 1000c batt for the 17.5 car so I won't look so "old" in the 17.5 class.

I flew Saturday and Sunday in Imlaystown giant scale warbirds fly in. Here is an example of a 1/2 scale Newport one of many that flew this weekend at Mercer County R/C club field. I fly 1/4 and 1/3 scale.
