Practice were good today. Lot of new faces. Tomorrow is Saturday Race Day for 1/10 and 1/8. Doors will be open at 10.00am and race will start by 12.00pm. Lot of guys will be in the house tomorrow.

Awesome afternoon and evening of practice. It was fun running 2wheel buggy. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Quick thought on the racing last night. Something I saw happening over and over in the 2wd buggy class was a small wreck turning into a big one. In open wheel racing, especially on dirt (where you don't have the traction to free yourself,) when 2 buggies tangle, they are often stuck together. When the drivers of those buggies then try to free themselves by pegging the throttle, they wind up catching other cars that are trying to pass.
In the qualifiers and in the main, 2 buggies tangled up soon became 3 and 4 buggies tangled up. The solution is to simply let the marshalls free the cars.
This is the huge difference between open wheel and closed wheel racing.
