Parts from my first order came in today for my mrs4 drift build... Included in this pic are: hot bodies motor mount, exotek Xpro chassis, savor micro torque servo, and an aesthetically pleasing dual exhaust... Got a LOT more coming in within the next couple weeks. Can't wait to get crackin...

Thanks! More goodies came in today:
- Hobbywing 18T, ESC combo
- exotek CVDs
- exotek lowering kit
- associated servo saver
- gpm aluminum knuckles
Just a few more things coming in but in the meantime I think I have enough to start the build. I'll post more as it comes along.

Yup, I went with the SH-0256. Used the team associated RC18t servo saver set and none of the peices fit the savox 21 tooth spline. I modified the savox servo peices to get me by till I can find a good servo horn/saver for this micro. If anyone has any recommendations, it'd be appreciated.
I added a updated build pic... Note to everyone out there, it appears they've updated the front knuckles so the aluminum ones I bought that are intended for the original mrs4 release do not fit on the newer ones... Oh well. Other than that it seems like the rest of my parts are fitting well and getting along.

Just picked up one of these for 65 bucks. It's in great shape. Runs fine and tracks straight. No problems at all. I've missed this little car. I had the original with a Murcielago body, a Speed 380 and a few aluminum bits. I wish I had never sold it. Now I have another one. I've already got the blue wheels, a new set of tires and the shorter belt. 2S 1300 LiPos should be here tomorrow and my Ken Block body will be here this weekend. It's no Lamborghini but it'll look just like my WR8 only smaller.

One of my RC buddies at work got his Micro RS4 today. He got the Mustang drift car. The front diff was borked right out of the box. Binding and clicking, something wasn't right. It had been a few years but it all came back to me and I had the diff out and apart in less than a minute with no tools. First thing I noticed was that it was missing the diff gear shim on the pulley side so the gear was just flopping around. Unfortunately, we didn't have any shims or washers at work so I put it all back together and brought it home with me. It needed more work than I could do there anyway.
Once I got it home and apart again, I found the right size shim but the diff was still binding and clicking. Closer inspection found a bit of plastic sprue left on one of the gears and it was binding against the casing. Someone on the diff assembly line was slacking that day. This is why I really don't care for RTRs but there's not much I can do about that. I cleaned that up and the diff now spins smoothly.
I got 2 2S 1300 LiPos for mine but the way the battery tapes to the tray, I can really only use one so I sold the second one to my buddy along with a Spektrum RX so he can use his DX4C. Now we've each got the same setup with better radios. There will be much racing and drifting before and after work .

A third Micro RS4 has been added to the mix! Another RC buddy at work (there are 5 of us into RC cars) found the green and blue Falken tire mustang on eBay last night for $100. I guess he couldn't stand watching us drift around the shop. Like me, he also had an original and sold it. Now we'll have 3 Micro RS4s and a LaTrax Rally running around the shop.
