Not sure if you're still looking:
penguin rc is still selling cf chassis.
http://www.penguinrc.com/welcome.shtml
There was also a fellow on here selling some of the Hardcore Racing aluminum? chassis.
They look great, although I haven't finished mine yet : )
I have the narrow Ratzas chassis if you want and other parts, just pm me

Looking to find out if these batteries will work. I feel they will as its just 1.5mm longer (width of vehicle)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-6V-2000m...item27cb2c8b2d

just not looking to pay $25 for one NiMH battery.
Any thoughts?

I want to upgrade the ESC and motor to a brushless & lipo capable combo and I was looking at the HobbyWing Quicrun 30A Waterproof ESC (Quicrun-WP-16BL30). Has anyone had experience with this ESC? Also which motor would I be best to pair with it?
It's only for fun, not racing.

You could use either a Castle 1818 4 pole motor or a Toro 1/18th 4 pole motor. Both are great options. For $35, I went with the Toro setup and I will be testing it up against the $100 Castle Micro Mamba system. You could also use the Dynamite Micro Fuze esc which is rated at 30 amp and waterproof, same one that came with the Losi Mini-8ight.

Thanks for the reply.
Will a 2-pole motor do the job or is the 4-pole that much better?
