yeah I didn't see too much info either on using the sway bars. toying with buying them on ebay and trying them out but in general i think the car works well when you have the right tires on vehicle without says for at least carpet offroad.

My CNC 12mm hexes came in, look good.

I think I am going to try some VTA tires and wheels next. they look to a have a bit more give to them than the USGT tires I was using and I think have a bit more traction too.

strodedawg: do you use the swaybars for carpet racing? if so, care to post your setup and conditions?

front
shocks drilled stock pistons, 40wt, losi med springs
5k oil in diff
out all the way on tower, in on arm
soft sway bar
-1.5 camber
0.5 toe out

rear
shocks drilled stock pistons, 35wt, losi med springs
3k diff oil
out on tower, out on arm
medium sway
-1 camber

ran mini pins on 24mm rims, wider in rear
phat bodies body and mini crt.5 wing

stock servo and motor
hobbywing 60a esc

tuned traction also by upper deck and chassis materials. carbon or plastic upper deck and aluminum or composite chassis.

ran on well taken care of carpet track for tenth scales

no sauce on tires until after about 6 race days tires were junk after about 9
rallyblocks last longer and have a longer window of traction

cool!

So by rally blocks you referring to the Rally car tires, just want to confirm before I order.

And do you you feel they are worth the $15 to have in the pitbox?

mount the rally blocks to your favourite set of ebay wheels and use schumacher hard foam inserts.
i use these wheels on ebay. pretty light and dont seem to crack like most of the "drift" type wheels you find on ebay..

I recently picked up the Truggy, SCT, and Rally versions of this platform, and I must say I am extremely impressed with all three. I started last year with the Losi mini 8T, but If I could start over again with the knowledge I have now, I would have opted for the LC Racing platform over the Losi mini-8 T for sure.

I find I enjoy driving the LC truggy more than the losi. The only thing missing from the truggy is a wider stance, but then again its narrowness might be why I find it so easy to steer compared to the losi. The LC truggy already comes with a 2850 motor and front CVD. It is a much more cost effective platform than the mini 8T. For the money I put into my Losi in upgrades, I could have bought 3 LC Racings, which I did anyway lol. So now I have 4 r/c vehicles lmao.

Anyhow, if anyone is still debating between the LC truggy and the losi, honestly the LC is probably the most cost effective place to start. I'll post some videos of it running on my track eventually.
