I hate messing up paint jobs, the Datsun 510 came out funky because the white backer bled through the green somehow. It was my first time using the spaz stix brand.

Put a mask on him and let him fug one up!
gonna have my 5yo do a hair drier neon paint bleed or splatter on one of my cars. They gotta learn!

Getting ready to join the LC Racing club. I think I'll start with the 1/14th scale two-wheel drive buggy kit for my backyard track

I see bending the CVDs is a reoccurring issue. They seem to sit quite deep in the diff outdrives. Do you think the CVD could be caught in the slot of the outdrive when it’s at an extreme angle during full uptravel or droop? If this is the case, chamfering the outdrives could prevent the stock CVDs from bending.

The picture of the unassembled LC12B1 on the LC Racing website appears to have the bottom of the gear cover set #6028 installed between the motor mount and center bulkhead. It would make sense that it fits since the motor mount is the same for all models. People say the LC12B1 unavoidably has an open drivetrain but it seems to me the pinion and spur gear could be enclosed in a box just like on all the other models. Has anyone tried this?
