I’ve never heard of that happening but they are essentially 12 dollar plastic gear servo. Issues with the 115 are common, but I’ve not had one fail on me, though I did replace the one in my truggy pretty shortly after I got it with the KO Propo mini servo.
I think they’re actually very good for what they are, especially in the buggies, but the truggy is a lot more taxing on a servo. Been solid in the new car so far though!

It would be really odd if it had 2 gear diffs, but I had the same concern. I have a feeling it's just like the LC truggy that you get through most of the overseas sleeps with the painted bodies, but it would be nice to know for sure. Maybe someone will email NitroRCX(or buy one) and let us know for sure.

Anyone heard of these or have any experience with them? Aside from the Castle clone appearance, they appear to be well made and not a true clone of anything which has me thinking they could be decent. Not sure if the 1/8 bore motors have flat spots for a pinion though. I messaged the seller and should know for sure in a day or two hopefully. https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-TEAM-XTI-28-Brushless-Motor-5200KV-4-Poles-Inrunner-for-1-14-RC-Car-Boat/323557993549?hash=item4b558f2c4d

Here is a vid of where we run minis and most 1/10s "locally" indoors:

Yes, I did see those. They got back and confirmed it does have a pinion flat on the shaft. I might try one just to see if they’re a good option. I have a 5150 Tenshock on its way now, so I might wait a bit.

seen some pics of an LC racing vehicle with a low profile servo mounted in it. I am going to see about giving this a go.
Funny thing, the AE standup mount may lend itself to a better fitment of a standup low profile servo.
This could be the solution to our servo worries lol

I do on my truggy.
I got sick of the stock rod ends getting filled with dirt all of the time, so I set out on a mission to find a better solution.
I started with 1 package of Rpm heavy duty rod ends
These as mentioned above would stick with the stock ball studs and the rod end that mounts up to the shock tower needed to be trimmed to clear the sway bar mount.
I didn't like the fact that they were sticky so I went ahead and purchased 2 packages of Team Associated ball studs but they threads on them are a bit too long and they must be trimmed down in the steering blocks and ackerman plate the ones going into the shock towers, caster blocks and rear axle carriers do not interfere with anything so they do not need trimming. I ended up trimming more or them than I needed to.
Finished product works great, no binding or sticking, feels much better than the stock setup and no more dirt gets in them.

Thank you slick2500, your setup is sweet thanks for the pics. We have a rally car and a truggy. My daughter is experiencing some wheel chattering during high speed cornering with her truggy. We have an anti roll bar kit from Lc racing (L6134). The kit came with 3 different sizes of bars ranging from 1.0, 1.2, 1.5mm. any suggestions on what sizes to start with?

I haven't been using the fronts on my LC12, but I used them on the old LWB buggy. It was a close fit with the RPM's but they cleared. This pic is a bad angle but it's all I have. Sold the car and just run the LC12 now.
I'm also not a tremendous fan of the RPM cups. I know they have their fans, but I'm not one of them. I reluctantly ordered some new ones in a different color to give them one last try on the new car, but if they dont work out, I'm switching to the Lunsfords.
