Try this https://killerhobbies.storesecured.com You will need to register to see the real price, not sure why you have to register, but I have ordered from them and losi parts warehouse and both places are good. My local HS is taking preorders for $179, and this is about $30 cheeper. I know, I know support the local hobby shop, but since they are the ones with the oval track I support them enough with racing, buying tires, parts, bodies ect.

Roger could you give me an idea about what the size of that oval is? plz..

Anyone run the bone stock ones know about how fast they are? A couple of us are wondering if they have enof punch to "slide" on a oval carpet track or are mostly for clay and dirt....?

To answer, the drive line is 175ft in the centerline. The stock power setup will work well on carpet from what I have seen but to get them to slide on carpet?Hummm.I think it would be an awsome class on carpet with a Mamba!

The reason for the constant delays in the release date of the Slider is that I believe it is made by Carisma for Losi.
The Mini T itself is made by Carisma for Losi so it follows that Carisma is also making the Slider. There are certain clues that give it away such as the battery pack and others.

The battery is the same one used in the Sportwerks Recoil 4wd 1/14 sedan which is made by Carisma for Sportwerks.

The problem is that Carisma is notorious for not producing product on time or in sufficient quantity to satisfy demand.
I have pointed this out to Horizon Hobby repeatedly through their rep Bill Jeric, but the problem remains.

I have Carisma cars and the Recoil as well and I want the Slider but I have been down this road with Horizon and Carisma before so I am not surprised by the constant delays. Expect replacement and option parts availability to be slow to release and spotty as to being available.

My advice is contact/email Horizon and address your comments to Bill Jeric and request they get on the ball and correct this situation. That's what I plan on doing!
I would also suggest contacting Losi and getting on their case about this. In other words don't just sit back and gripe about it on this forum. Fire up your emails and make a difference! That's exactly what I'm going to do!

I hope this helps.

Where did you hear that the Losi Mini-T was made by Carisma?

When the Mini T first came out one of the RC magazines, I forget which one, said that it was made by Carisma for Losi. If I find the issue I will let you know which one.

If you ever look close at the Mini T and the Carisma cars you will see the obvious clues; but trust me, the Mini T is made by Carisma.

I just sent an email to both Losi and Bill Jeric at Horizon concerning the delay in release of the Mini T Slider. I mentioned that people are getting fed up with these constant delays and I asked if this means there will be problems in getting replacement and option parts as well.

Anything to do with Carisma usually means just that unfortunately. I hope this car will be different.

I encourage you all to email them.

I was told 8/8/07 by my LHS owner. I got a pillow fluffed up on my bed for when it comes in. Any of you know when its released how long until the late model kit will be for it afterwards?

Which magazine did you read that in? What are the obvious clues that the Mini-T is made by Carisma?
