Overview

The Mini-Slider is an amazing detailed scale model of a full scale dirt oval sprint car. Featuring a longer chassis than the Mini-T or Mini-Baja, the Mini-Slider is designed with unique handling characteristics while sharing many performance and upgradeability features from other Losi Minis. The 4-piece body with headers, street tires, chromed wheels and realistic roll cage configuration all add to the look that parallels the real thing. There is no other vehicle quite like it on the market today and it’s only available from Losi.

The Mini-Slider comes completely ready-to-run with the Losi DSM radio system for crystal and interference free precision-control at all times. This vehicle also offers coil over, oil filled shock for better handling for oval racing or everyday bashing. The functional top wing is completely adjustable and removable to suit the needs of the driver. Whether it is dirt or asphalt, the street/dirt oval tires mounted on chromed wheels give the Mini-Slider the right amount of traction for a variety of surface condition.

I will be posting some photos and videos this weekend of this car in action at our dirt oval track. Some of the guys that have access to Losi :sneaky: have been doing some testing. They look really good on the track. Most of their cars have brushless systems with a 7-cell or a li-po. Anyways, i'll see about getting some footage on this little beast in action by sunday.

I don't know.. trying incorporate a oval into a roadcourse (or really vice versa) invariable limits the tracks potential. I could see this though on a real (banked) dirt oval versus carpet.

Here are photos of the dirt oval track ( Fremont Raceway in Fremont, CA ) that they've been testing on. I just got word afew hours ago that they're gonna be racing saturday evening; and Mr. Alton will be present . There should be at least 5-7 losi cars on the track.

Here are afew photos of last night racing. Team Losi R&D team was there doing some testing. Team Losi brought out a full production car that was very promising. The first photo is a prototype Losi sprint car. Very impressive design and it handles like it was on rails. I will also be posting some videos tommorrow of these Losi sliders mini 1/18th scale sprint car. Thanks to Team Losi for displaying these cars for us at Fremont Raceway.

BTW: The 60 lap club is a club for elite racers. Only afew handful of racers have ever reached 60 laps in 5 minutes. One of the losi drivers hit 61 laps with the production Losi-Mini Slider sprint car. Way to go team losi
