Congrats. Sorry I didn't have an answer to your questions. I really wish I could fit one of these into the budget. I want to start racing these very much.

Good luck finding the Team Bluegroove conversion. The Slider chassis is about the same length as the Bluegroove conversion.

Default Servo for Mini Slider/Mini Late Model

Hey folks,

I'm wondering if any of you have upgraded your servos in your Losi Mini's. Are there any metal gear servos that will fit in these cars? My Son-In-Law chews up the gears like they were made of butter. I'm looking for something that won't require much modification to work.

Thanks,
Kris

Here's a great drop in MG servo for that car, one of the best upgrades you'll make.

Here's the servo saver,

I notice that it only has a single mounting hole in the center of each mounting tab rather than the 2 holes on each tab like the stock servo:

What kind of modification is necessary to mount that servo in place of the stock one?

I'm pretty sure the servo saver listed in the above post has the hardware need to mount either 1 hole or 2

Hitec HS-55 is alot better than the stock one $14. Not metal geared though. I've never striped the gears in mine.
