Is there a spot (like on the RC Madness wesite) where we can see a one page evolution of this race as it unfolds?
I have picked up several fragments of rules, classes, and changing information from the many pages of this thread. It would be nice to see it on one page with updates as they happen. question: For the 18R class. Is there only an open class or will there be stock also? |
ooops... forgot the second question..
What type of timing system will be used? |
Aren't there only two viable options?
I-Lap Timing System AMB ? |
I believe Madness uses RC Scoring Pro, but i could be wrong...
Hey Dean - what's the big announcement  |
Doesn't "timing system" mean the hardware not the software?
RcScoringPro is software, not hardware. |
Whats the news?????????

kewl!
OK...now tell us about the new cars that will be out before your race in December! |
Sorry, I can't do that.... Then the connections that I have would not share anymore secrets.....

You remind me of my prom date. Big build up over a long period of time and I ended up with nothing at the end of the evening.
|
Where did those width dimensions for 1/18 4wd come from? Why would the front have a lesser width? :flaming: The first thing we fix when setting up an m18 is the front width.
1/10 tc has a max track width of 190 for elec and 200 for nitro with no distinction for front v.s. rear. Why should 1/18 have such a restriction? |

True- and also going wider in the front wouldn't that extend the tires beyond a sedan body fender? |
The smaller front tires have already been established since the MRS4. It would as suggested at least require some extra wheel well cutting depending on the body used, and give a unfair advantage to those vehicle/people who could.
At least this way there is a evenly matched setup among all sedans with wheelbase. Allowing the top drivers to become more apparent versus who can push their front end out the farthest to get the most corner speed. |
