Ahhhhh!!!! I was going to let my MRS4 slip quietly into the darkness. Was thinking about getting a cyclone S to race. Now what am I going to do huh?! Better start saving my pennies to get that EXO3. Was that your secret weapon at the challenge? :sneaky::lol::tire:

MikeR: very good design, especially the rear suspension !!! How does it feel? Could it be competitive against an xray m18 or m18pro? I know they are 2 differents car but I had to ask the question.

MikeR, can you still use reg cells with this chassis?

Hi, my micro currently has a stock motor. Any suggestions for more get up & go? I'd rather not use a big block so I'm limited to a "180" size motor. The car has a LRP Quantum (1/10 size) and A123 6.6 volt 1150 mah cells. It does not have to be a land missle. Weight is 14oz. Thanks, Don

If you gotta stay small, the best would be the orion coreless mod motor. It's not cheap though.

OK, thanks-Don

The mambas are also considered 180 size. You would only need to make the holes in the motor plate larger to accept 2.5mm screws.

Roy- Yes, this is what I used at the HPI race:D

Maxime- Not sure the MRS4 can compete with the M18 still...

Marvett- Lipo only. Nimh is too cumbersome for the MRS4.

I knew it! I guess I should have taken a closer look at your car. I remember your chassis not having the battery slots in the bottom. Let us know when the new chassis is ready to ship.

Hi, my Mamba is in my BRP. I've ordered an Orion Coreless, what gearing should I use? All I have on hand is HPI plastic pinions-will they work or should I get some set screw pinions? Thanks, Don

The plastic pinions won't hold up when the motor heats up. If you gear low, they might work. Check here for a smoking deal on pinion sets.
