the venom fireball is pretty nice but like the title says it does get HOT. i have found that stock rc18t and mini-baja motors work really well and are under 20 bux. this is a good choice also!

I'm pretty sure that the Graupner 300 based motors are faster then the stock rc18t motors and I have heard that the Fireball is faster then the 300. I need power to run on a 1/10 track.

I don't really mind the motor running hot, unless it starts melting stuff. I have gotten a big block hot enough to melt the solder off the battery connection. Anybody know what pinion is good to use with the fireball. I just ordered one from tower. I got a coupon worth $20 off of a $50 order. Killer deal. The fireballs are only 7.99 too.

i dont race my mrs4, i drift with it. i have run the above motors in my mini-t and the graupner speed 300 v6 is faster than both the 18t and the fireball motor! what size is the track you will be running on and how technical? with the fireball id start low pinion wise. i was runnin a 10 on mine for drifting and it still got pretty darn hot! theres alot of low end throttle while drifting so it may stay a tad cooler under more open racing conditions. mine didnt bolt right up to the motor plate on my mrs4 either. had to dremmel a little out of the plate for the venom! hope this all helps!

Nice clean car. I especialy like the little shrine you have it in. The track I run at is a parking lot track for touring cars. Lanes are 8 to 10 feet wide, medium techinical and 140 foot straight. I just redid my batteries and electronics. I'll try posting pictures in a bit.
u didnt waste your money, theyre a fast little motor. i suggest removing the connector from the wires it comes with and wiring it straight to your esc with no connector. cant wait to see your pix!

Hah, you got that right. I'm sure you're running the EXO-2 chassis. I was sooo jealous when it came out, but couldn't justify dropping the cash for it. Got any of those EXO-2's in the clearance bin for a EXO fan?
