I also say no, you need the trinity motor plate it fits bigger motors.

hi people i just got a micro rs4 second hand recently...

I'm looking to upgrading it, but since this is my "not so serious" r/c car, I do not want to spend too much on it. Sure I want some speed on it, but not to the extend on needing to spend money on custom battery packs, metal universals etc.

My car is currently running stock motor and I'm interested to get the hobbywing BL that costs just usd53!

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-mot...95_747_621_838

I'm more interested to get this bl more for the lack of maintenance compared to brushed motor than for crazy speed.

I wonder if anyone is using this? Will this would work well with the 4aa 2500mah sanyo nimhs i'm currently using? Will it fit in the micro rs4 without modification?

Thank you so much!

Any body getting ready for the 09 HPI challenge races! I'm hoping there will be enough racers in So Cal for a heat.

I'm planning on running mine - just not sure what kind of turn out we'll get over here in NJ..

we have the possibility of getting enough of a turnout for both types stock or mod - so not sure which is going to surface as the bigger class...I really wanna run my exo3 again :sneaky:, so part of me is hoping its a mod class...

or else Andy just make the rules to allow any chassis/hopup/battery/etc and limit the motor :) But somehow I don't see everyone being happy with that option

Either way, I'm in - just need to get a new lipo since my last one "buldged" after the race:flaming: POS!!!:flaming::flaming:

My vote is for mod in NJ considering I only have the one and there is no way I want to go about changing it back to stock. The only problem is k_bojar you might be going up against one with some of your old parts on it. Wouldn't it suck to get beat by your own old parts. Kinda Days of Thunder like!

:) that's fine with me...at least I know the stuff had a good showing :)

the biggest thing about the stock class at the challenge was the chassis - any hopups were allowed, just had to be the HPI stock chassis...

Like I said, I'll run either (perfer mod so I don't have to hunt down too much for the race), just wanna run in a class that has more than 4 or 5 guys

Hey Roy or Marvet

what do you think about this pack - http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...4-Pack&cat=182 - for the exo3 chassis??

I want to get another Apogee pack, but with running the 140mm chassis, the Apogee pack is just a smidgen too long and thins might work :):)

Think the "missing" 140mah will make that much of a difference??

That pack looks like a good fit. The Apogee pack is 60mm long and the one you listed is only 49mm long. Its a 30c pack too. I seem remember MikeR telling me that he never uses more then 700mah for a 5 min race. You might try hitting him up on PM to make sure. My memory isn't so good anymore.

Try having a look through this thread I merged yours with, it pretty much covers eberything you may want to know about the car. And remember, in the future, the SEARCH function is your friend....:sneaky:
