Happy with this for my first month. Couldn't match my 4.83 fastest lap on this one but was able to sneak under my goal of sub 400 seconds.

I think the fronts were trued to 22.3mm and sides glued. Switched to a green springs to take even more traction out. This allows the car to mellow out on my uneven track. Softer springs help mellow out more, but then I am really waiting for the car to rotate in every corner. You can see from last month, car isn't as fast, but easier to drive consistently. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...d9e4c828d0.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...4af06ee1ae.jpg |

We had 10 drivers posting 27 entries last month, including some new racers. Welcome to all the new racers! Please reach out if you have questions of any kind. The Mini96 is a little challenging but when you master it, it’s really fun and will help with driving at all scales. I broke box stock into two classes, Sportsman and Expert, to help make it more of a race for the new drivers. Hopefully this change works for everyone but please reach out and let me know if it is an issue for anyone. Huge thanks to Marwin for all the years of keeping the Mini96 World Challenge running smoothly. I will do my best to be a good steward of the challenge. Here are the results: Box Stock Sportsman 1st - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 391.4/4.79s 2nd - Malave/Micheil Malave – 398..8/4.75s 3rd - Koma306/Brandon Knogler – 399.1/4.96s 4th - danjoy25/Dan Dylen Garcia – 405.6/4.86s 5th - TheRcPest/Kevin Erdmann – 418.9/4.74s 6th - feu98/Pierre Thisdel – 419.0/5.13s 7th - LordPalf /Shawn Oliver – 440.6/5.38s Box Stock Expert 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 327.60/4.10s 2nd - Chjosi - 333.184/4.197s Narrow Class 1st - Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh – 329.2/4.17s 2nd - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 340.1/4.27s 3rd - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 397.5/4.89s Unofficial Open MX-5 Class 1st - Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh – 334.3/4.30s 2nd - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 338.0/4.18s 3rd - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 393.8/4.78s Porsche Cup Class 1st -Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh – 309.4/3.95s 2nd - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 317.7/3.98s 3rd - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 386.7/4.73s Stock 86 Class 1st - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 395/4.77s Stock Class 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 318.8/3.90s 2nd - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc – 394.3/4.80s 3rd - feu98/Pierre Thisdel – 416.6/4.82s Pro Stock 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 309.3/3.88s 2nd - CrazyRonny/Ronald Bolduc - 397 /4.69s Open 2WD 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 298.9/3.71s 2nd - Malave/Micheil Malave – 428.8/4.49s Open AWD 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard – 312.5/3.97s FTM goes to PoorBoy/David Krinard in his Open 2WD car with a blistering 3.76 fast lap! If anyone was late, please post up and I will update the results. Also please check my tabulations. This was a little challenging to put together so please let me correct any mistakes you find. Looking forward to seeing when everyone thinks of the July layout. Should be fast flowing fun. |
For July 2024 we will be going back to this layout that we last used 5 years ago in September 2019 running clockwise. It uses all but 4 of the tiles and should be fast and flowy, very different from the last layout.

Track set up
So i want to post pictures of the cars i will be running and the track set up with the layout for the month but website won’t allow it until I have a couple of posts
|
Classes
I will be starting with 3 classes Box Stock, Stock, and open awd as I didn’t see a box stock awd class
|
i think the f1 will have better time getting around this layout. Ill be switching it up soon.
Side note: Ill be moving my track to my garage in FL so i can leave it together for longer periods of time. Currently i have been running in the house in air condition. Is there anything to help keep the heat from runing the track? Florida gets to about 95F-100F during july and august months. Im assumig the garage may be a bit hotter since i wont be running the garage fans unless i am working in the garage or running the RC. |
yes you will need to make a few valid post before you can add photos or links, I also believe there is a daily limit on how many post you can do. If you have more questions after you reached your daily limit, use the FB group.

Question
Does anyone know how many post i have to make before I can post pictures I don’t have facebook so that thread over there is not an option for me.
