I took over running this challenge from LJH three years ago after participating in it for a couple of years, so its time to hand over the reigns to someone else. I still plan to run and submit times, but need to step back a little bit, as it has started to feel like a chore. Luckily Poor_Boy aka David Krinard has agreed to take over for a while. Drive fast and keep the shiny side up!

Class : Open 2WD Location: Orlando FL Race Time: 7:08.81 Fastest Lap: 4.49secs Chassis: GLF1 with mwx uppers Body: GLF1 Wheelbase:114mm Tires: Rears marks f1 5s unsure Fronts maybe 25s Springs: Red T-Plate: N/A Motor :GL 2500 kv Brushless Batteries: MWX 2s Gearing : 10T Pinion I ran about 600-700 laps with the f1....i forgot to get the front wing with the bearing to bounce off walls. I start scraping pieces of track from side walls which made me over think and hesitate when driving. This car can be pushed much faster, easily over my box stock but length and sharp wing kept catching walls. Tried 9t Pinion but believe it to have been perfectly round so went to 10t which felt better. I noticed the faster I ran it, the less twitchy and fely like on rails at some point. overall I noticed I couldn't enter the first hairpin as fast as I liked consistently without hitting the wall, and left time to be made there but next month I'll drive this car more. SideNote I ran this car at a local.MWX performance event and saw marcus williams run the R1F1with 3500motor(crazy fast). I placed 4th In f1 main and was in the running for podium, due to my lack of experience driving the f1 i was hesitant to push car faster.
