    They typically don't stick once removed as Billy said. You could also just use duct tape which I've done in the past as a cheap alternative as well.

    I usually get the clear chassis protector. It’s cheap. Once removed or peeled usually doesn’t stick. Carpet requires their use. Most just use Gorilla clear tape to recover peeled sections for screw
