Now as for the charger another thing you can try doing is cleaning all the electrical contacts. Charge leads, balance plugs the works. As for the durability of the hyperion chargers I still to this day use an original DUO with out any issues. They have a great track record.

Hyperion Updates: http://media.hyperion.hk/dn/pc/eosfw.htm and READ VERY CAREFULLY.

A 4800 Li-Po at 4.8 amps will balance charge in 80 to 90 minutes.

If you have the original DUO or DUOII you need the kit I linked to. If you have the DUOIII it comes with the USB cord and plug for it built into the charger.

FYI register as a member with us and you can get it cheaper than that place. As far as the updates solving your issue I can't say whether it will or not. The update will allow you to do a 2C rate for charging up to 10 amps.

Sweet thank you. When you register, How do you get your level up? And yeah I was readin up on that. I am a PC specialist And A electronic Freak.. So pretty much am smart with this kind of stuff.

Now if we Charge at 2c How much damage can or are you doing to the batter?? I know it cuts down my charging in half, but what are we really doing to the batteries?

As far as charging packs at a 2C rate it doesn't cut the charge time in half. you might shave 10 to 15 minutes off but that's about it. And only do a 2C charge rate if your packs can handle it. Check the packs specs. Ours can handle 5C with no issues at all.

With our batteries, no. With other brands I can't answer that.
