Found the Ford Focus body I wanted, going with fluorescent green paint and bronze wheels.
I'm still trying to decide on the chassis and tires I'm going to use. Here's what I've found so far in rally tires made for touring car wheels. Leaning towards the Schumacher SST rally tires. Please add to the list if you find anything else, thanks!
HPI Racing Pirelli T Rally Tire, mostly for asphalt, 2 compounds (4468/4467)
Schumacher Racing SST Mini Pins, mostly for hard packed dirt/clay, 3 compounds (U6716/U6623/U6624)
HPI Racing Rally Tire, all around tire, 1 compound (4470)
Schumacher Racing SST Rally, all around tire/loose dirt/turf, 2 compounds (U6630/U6629)
*From what I can tell this tire is made for the Tamiya Mini wheels, but they will fit on 26mm touring wheels.* Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Tamiya 1.9" Block Soft Rally Tires, all around tire/loose dirt/turf, 1 compound (50476)

They are cheaper than I thought! I know they are scale in appearance on a 1/10 car and are 12mm hex.

Nice video links, makes me wonder if we should have a pea gravel section? Maybe fill the the section that was dug up with the hoe with a thin ~1/2" layer of pea gravel? We could tamp it down into the dirt some to give a nice finish.
A bag of pea gravel is $2.79 @ Menards and will cover a 3sq/ft area @ 2" thick, so we could stretch it to 12sq/ft per bag @ 1/2" thick. Shouldn't take too many bags.

I was stoked to find the Focus because it's the same body style as my daily driver! I found the body on the HPI website, they have quite a few nice options available.
I may have to try this one somewhere down the line if I get bored of the earlier focus:

So for rally body I was think only two racers can run the same car manufacture. That way we can have manufacture points as well. Just like they do it for UF1. So let's get a list of drivers and car body going. Sign up early to get the manufacture of your choice.
