The width is exactly the same as the Core/JR/ Spectrum/Savox/Futaba of the same class and the Mi4 servo mounts insure it.

Thanks, good to know! For the price I think I'm going to try it.

But for the price of the MX-98E, tough choice...

Does the MX-98E center properly? I will destroy my car if the servo doesn't center properly lol...

I have run it back to back with the Core 40 and couldn't tell the difference. For just under $17 you get a full metal, dual ball bearing servo. It has centered perfectly every time in the Yellow Ferrari.

Awesome, I trust your opinion so for the money I'm going to have to try it.

Default mini servo's

Anyone look at this venerable favorite?

http://www.amain.com/Futaba-S9650-Se...tal-Mini/p9495

Wow...those mounting holes are 43mm on center...guess what the chassis holes are?

43mm exactly!

http://www.servocity.com/html/s9650_...l#.VDqCARE0mL4

Whether or not the horn offset works is something to be investigated, but this thing should bolt in with no servo mounts required - they are built into the servo. Just measured the horn offset, it's within 1mm of dead center.

This might be good money if you're a Futaba guy.

Hey guys this is Ben M. I'm the one who brought the 3D printed truck in last week. My Supastox will be arriving today. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to cut and paint the body yet either, it just arrived yesterday. If people will be practicing tonight I might stop in. But likely won't have my car ready until next week.

Did someone have a red body? I got the Type A and planned on painting it red but more importantly don't want to have a car that looks too similar to someone else's.

No red Ascaris. One racing red Ferrari.

Paint it as you like Ben...you can only worry about that so much.

Good find!

I sure am glad I haven't bought a Supastox yet. Looks like the CF version is the hot ticket. Nice improved diff design and color too! The list of improvements is long, the video wraps it up nicely though.

Hopefully they offer the new rear diff axle separately, so that can be added to the CF version.

Diff is the same, just black. A lot of those tweak screw options can and have been done to the regular SupaStox. I still think the bumpier the track the better the previous design will work. The GT really is almost a full blown 12th with a full length chassis and no center shock. I like it. Note it is for GT racing only, but that is exactly what we are doing with it. Ease of setup looks to be seriously improved, but the previous one isn't hard to set up either. I think the huge difference is the front end with the variety of tuning upgrades. Ackerman is much improved with better adjustment all around. We really won't know if it's any better until the one Stan ordered on sight arrives.

I'm not sure that the existing design will not be better for our use and track.

The new car will be far less durable and require more maintenance.

Keep in mind, as Schumacher said. "this is a circuit specific GT12 chassis."

They are not deprecating the existing design - they both have a place.
