Default Attention MARCCA Board

This is a summation of my conversation with the landlord:

Hi Karl,

This is the follow up to our conversation today. I will be renting the space to a Halloween retailer from July 1 to November 9th. The space will again be available on November 10th until February 28th 2014. If you decide to rent the space for this fall I will need a commitment for the entire time from November 10th to February 28th. A decision needs to be made very soon as I have a soccer club that wants the space this fall if you don't. You may store your equipment that is at the current space in the back warehouse where cars were stored last year at no cost if you will be returning in the fall. The Halloween company will also be using this back warehouse so you will have to get his permission to get to your stuff if needed. The wall between the front showroom and the middle section might be removed for his retail sales. How this will effect you should be considered.

If you have any questions feel free to call or email.

Thanks,

Dale

He would like a answer ASAP. I am not sure what to think but I am leaning towards moving out at the end of June. There is nothing stopping him from changing the dates again. I am also under the impression after February we are out for good. Please chime in on this matter. A lack of response likely means he will take our silence as a "no".

A 6000sq. Ft. Space we had years ago is available now.
$1000/month and we pay utilities.
It is on the frontage road by Farm and Fleet on Stoughton Rd.
Mystic Mountain moved in after us if that rings any bells.
I think Jason Gibson and Jeremy Whiting started racing with us at that location.
I think all we would get is a 60 day notice to move and he asks the same if we choose to move.
I can get his info if the Club is serious.

Our busiest season is October/November through April (Winter indoor). I don't think it makes sense to continue to stay if we cant be racing for that time period.

I would vote to start looking for a new indoor location if we are unable to rent the current place for the full indoor winter season.

I agree that we should not commit to renting the building if it does not allow us the ability to run a complete indoor season in the winter. I will do my part in trying to locate another place as I'm sure others are doing.

Also, I wanted to give an update as to the outdoor plans at the Nelson's Crossing track. I have contacted a gentleman that I'm sure can get me at least the information that we would need so that we can either lease or use the land for the current track. I am meeting with him today for lunch to discuss and will post an update tonight.

Moving now would be a good idea.

After seeing what we are paying for the current space, I have adjusted my opinion. We should get out of our current building ASAP.

I would rather have club money to be able to race indoor during the winter than piss it away during the summer.

Oh, and thanks for keeping us up on what's going on.

Anyone have the contact for the owner of this place?

OK I sense that we are in agreement about moving out. I will contact the owner in the morning and let him know we will get our stuff out by the end of June. If anyone wants to contact me by email it is [email protected]. Now where do we move our stuff and on what date. I will help for sure.

If we don't have a building but the end of June we will have to move our stuff into storage.

I can ask my friend again about storing the stuff again. He would need a move out date. That was the issue last year. If we could give him a definite move out date I am sure that would be fine, as he stores boats and such during the winter. let me know

We rented it from Ross Menard, then my cousin bought it.
Mystic Mountain was willing to pay real rent so my cousin rented our space to them.
Now my cousin has sold the mini Mall and he is friends with the new owner.
If you guys are serious I can have my cousin talk to him.
I was told $1000/month and we pay utilities. We give/get 60 day notice
